Lindenfarb is STRÄHLE+HESS’s finishing specialist for dyeing and functionalizing textile surfaces. We finish knitted textiles (flat and circular knits, textile spacer fabrics, 3D structures) as well as nonwovens.
From integrated pre-treatment with washing, drying, heat fixing and final stretching in a single operation to dry cleaning for optimum removal of preparations (oils, waxes, avivages), we achieve residue-free cleaning of textiles for sensitive subsequent processes such as gluing, laminating and bonding.
Textiles are dyed using different processes: from rope dyeing to beam dyeing.
We use chemical functionalization to make textiles flame-resistant, dirt and oil-repellent as well as antibacterial, fungicidal or antistatic.
There are also various methods for mechanical surface finishing – buffing, shearing, sanding, matt and gloss calendering and embossing.
The finishing process ends with an in-depth product inspection, final inspection with a test laboratory and a visual and colorimetric final color inspection.
