Apprenticeship as a textile product finisher (m/f/d)

Duration of training:
3 years in company and vocational school (block instruction in Schopfheim; costs covered and organized by Lindenfarb)

In addition to controlling and monitoring production processes, product finishers take on a variety of tasks in work preparation. This includes in particular the creation of the recipes required for the various product requirements. Monitoring and improving quality guidelines is an important part of the job. Particular attention is paid to compliance with strict ecological and environmental specifications.

For trainees with an intermediate school-leaving certificate, it is possible to obtain the advanced technical college entrance qualification in conjunction with additional lessons.

Prerequisites:

  • Solid school-leaving certificate
  • Interest in technical developments

  • motor skills
  • quick comprehension
  • Ability to work in a team

Perspectives:

  • Further training to become a master craftsman in the textile industry or textile technician

Apprenticeship as a textile laboratory technician specializing in textile finishing (m/f/d)

Duration of training:
3.5 years in the company and vocational school (block instruction in Schopfheim; costs covered and organized by Lindenfarb)

Textile laboratory technicians examine the various chemical and physical properties of fibers, fabrics and textile auxiliaries under laboratory conditions. They analyze raw materials, materials and products, record the tests and evaluate the results. Quality assurance is also a key area of work at Lindenfarb. The research and development of new materials and formulations are further fields of activity for textile laboratory assistants at Lindenfarb.

For trainees with an intermediate school-leaving certificate, it is possible to obtain the advanced technical college entrance qualification in conjunction with additional lessons.

Prerequisites:

At the earliest possible date we are looking for a

Senior Manufacturing Engineer (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

  • Manage customer complaints, including investigation, resolution and communication in accordance with HQ procedure
  • Develop, maintain and improve the site’s quality management system in alignment with HQ standards
  • Act as the main contact during external audits
  • Handle supplier claims for quality deviations, coordinating corrective actions and negotiations as per signature regulations
  • Ensure testing and inspection capabilities meet internal and customer requirements.
  • Analyze quality data to identify trends, drive root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Lead training sessions for quality inspectors and production personnel on quality control procedures and standards
  • Promote quality and environmental awareness across teams
  • Support production in complying with legal, environmental, and occupational safety regulations in accordance with ISO -14001.
 

Our requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Manufacturing, Textile, or Environmental Engineering.
  • 2 years of experience as a Quality Engineer.
  • Experience with process audits, IATF 16949 compliance, customer quality issue resolution, and training production teams on quality and environmental standards.
  • Knowledge of PPAP and FMEA.
