Apprenticeship as a textile product finisher (m/f/d)

Duration of training:
3 years in company and vocational school (block instruction in Schopfheim; costs covered and organized by Lindenfarb)

In addition to controlling and monitoring production processes, product finishers take on a variety of tasks in work preparation. This includes in particular the creation of the recipes required for the various product requirements. Monitoring and improving quality guidelines is an important part of the job. Particular attention is paid to compliance with strict ecological and environmental specifications.

For trainees with an intermediate school-leaving certificate, it is possible to obtain the advanced technical college entrance qualification in conjunction with additional lessons.

Prerequisites:

  • Solid school-leaving certificate
  • Interest in technical developments
  • chemical and physical understanding
  • motor skills
  • quick comprehension
  • Ability to work in a team

Perspectives:

  • Further training to become a master craftsman in the textile industry or textile technician

Apprenticeship as a textile laboratory technician specializing in textile finishing (m/f/d)

Duration of training:
3.5 years in the company and vocational school (block instruction in Schopfheim; costs covered and organized by Lindenfarb)

Textile laboratory technicians examine the various chemical and physical properties of fibers, fabrics and textile auxiliaries under laboratory conditions. They analyze raw materials, materials and products, record the tests and evaluate the results. Quality assurance is also a key area of work at Lindenfarb. The research and development of new materials and formulations are further fields of activity for textile laboratory assistants at Lindenfarb.

For trainees with an intermediate school-leaving certificate, it is possible to obtain the advanced technical college entrance qualification in conjunction with additional lessons.

Prerequisites:

At the earliest possible date we are looking for a

Quality Manager (m/f/d)

 

Your tasks:

  • Lead and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS), including audits, control plans, and FMEAs
  • Monitor quality performance and report to leadership
  • Drive quality improvement initiatives and reduce defects, waste, and costs
  • Oversee quality control processes, lab operations, and product specifications
  • Manage PPAPs, root cause analysis (8D), and corrective/preventive actions
  • Act as main contact for customer and supplier quality topics, including complaints and claims
  • Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and environmental/safety regulations
  • Support EMS activities, audits, and recertification

 

Our requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field (Master’s preferred)
  • 5+ years of quality or manufacturing leadership experience (textiles/automotive preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of PPAP, FMEA, SPC, 8D, Lean, Six Sigma, and VDA 6.3
  • Experience with SAP and MS Office
  • Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills
  • English required; German is a plus
